“Our world has an expiration date. It ends at
a specific time, with a specific event, on that day that is marked on a
calendar more than 2,000 years ago”*of which only God knows.
As this time clock ticks, human population is
dramatically increasing; natural resources and agriculture land is shrinking while diseases and poverty are globally
spreading, and the chances of third world countries obtaining sufficient
technology and money to offset such calamity are grim. It is inevitable that extinction
of humanity will occur.
Scientific studieshave determined that Existence of Earth along with all forms
of life in its biosphere is depending on the nuclear reaction occurring at its
core. This energy is Earth’s life source. Yet, scientists estimate that in
approximately 4.5 billion year such reactions will cease, since Earth’s core
had already consumed about 50% of its nuclear energy. As a result, Earth and all life forms on it
will vanish. Ironically towards the end earth will not wither and fade away
instead it will increase its energy emission. As a result, volcanoes,
earthquakes, and tsunamis will be prevalent worldwide.
Such an
ominous scenario is prophesied in most religions. They are also groups
and/or individuals” who uses divination, spiritualism, sorcery, or occult
practices to prophase the future, which I is not acknowledge
. However this process is accelerating at a
precarious rate due to manmade
intervention: Global Warming, wars
or perhaps both.
I will address each mentioned scenario that may lead to our demise:
ReligionsIn
Islam: the “QURAN” (about 644-650 A.D)
Surah 99;
1-8 the Earth Quake (AZ-Zilzal).This
Surah takes it name from the word ZILZAL (violent Quake) in the 1st
verse. It is concerned with important events that take place on the day of
resurrection.
IN THE NAME OF GOD, THE
ALL- MERCIFUL THE ALL COMPASSIONATE.
1-When the Earth is
severely quaked
2- And the Earth yields its heavy burden.
3- And man
enquires “What is the matter with it?”
4- On that
day, it will recount all its tidings
5- As your
lord has inspired it to do so.
6- On that
day, all humans will come forth in different companies, to be shown their deeds
(that they did in the world).
7-And so,
whoever does an atom of good will be see it
8- And who
does a atoms of weigh of evil will see it.
“The verses are, both in writing and meaning, possibly
relating major events during the final destruction and rebuilding the world, or
they may be referring to earthquakes in general. During the final destruction
of the world, the earth will be shaken with violent shocks (surah56;4) by a
violent blast of the trumpet (Surah 79;6). The mountains will be as a heap of
slipping sand (surah 73;14) and the earth flatten out (surah 84;3) casting
forth whatever is in it and becoming empty (surah 84;4). The ground will be
overturned and bring out their content (Sura 82;4) In short, during that
destruction whatever is in the earth (mines, treasures, and dead bodies-will be
throw out. then the first blast of the trumpet will be filled by a second
(Surah 79;7), and the dead will be revived and hasten toward the plan of
gathering (Sura 50;44/70;43) The unbelievers will witness the destruction of
the world, and they will be greatly shaken also by the second blow of the
trumpet and revival. Thus, the unbeliever will come to understand the truth of
DOOMSDAY, and everything about it will be revealed to them. They will also come
to see the truth of what ever God’s messengers brought from God. After the
resurrection, the earth may relate all the deeds done on it during its worldly
life by God’s making. It speaks literally in some fashion, as he will also make
human bodily, organs speak against the humans (Surah 41;20-21)”
IN CHRISINITY: The Holy bible
Isaiah 24;1,3,19-20
a.Behold, the Lord lays the earth
waste, devastates it, distort its surface, and scatter its inhabitants…The
Earth will be completely laid waste and completely despoiled…The Earth is
broken asunder, the earth is split through, the Earth
is shaken violently. The Earth reels to and fro like a drunkard, and it
tooters like a shack, for its transgression is heavy
upon it, and it will fall, never to rise again.
Revelation:
6;12-16
a.I look when he broke the sixth seal, and there
was a great Earth quake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair,
and the whole moon became like blood, and the stars and skies fell upon the
Earth, as a fig tree cast its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. The sky
will apart like scroll when rolled up, and every mountain and island will be
moved out of their place. Then the King of the Earth and the great men and the
commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves
in the caves and among the rock of the mountains; and they said to the mountain
and to the rocks “Fall on us and hide from us from the presence of him who sits
on the throne, and the wrath of the lamb”
They are
three successive crashing waves of God’s judgment are described in details in
Revelation 6-19.
is the main
passage in the Bible that describes the tribulation. These 14 chapters give us
an overview of the terrible judgments at the end of times:God’s will pour out three sets of seven
judgments upon earth. These series of judgments will be poured out successively
during the Tribulation and will increase in severity
There are
seven “seal judgment”(Revelation 6), seven “trumpets judgment” (Revelation
8-9), and “seven bowl judgment” (revelation 16):

One half of the earth’s population will perish
in just two of the 19 judgments (Revelation 6:8; 9:18) The environment and the
entire planet will be destroyed. Revelation 16:19-21) graphically pictures the
worldwide devastation::The cities of nations fell…And every island fled away
and the mountains were not found. And huge hailstones, about one hundred pounds
each came down from the heaven upon men.”
Hundreds of millions
of people will be involved in a gigantic, global power struggle centered in the
Holy Land (Revelation 16:13-16)The area will become the scene of the greatest
war of history. Great armies from every nation will pour onto the Middle East
for earth’s final death struggle centered in the Holy land (revelation
16:13-16).The area will become the scene of the greatest war of history. Great
armies from every nation will pour into the Middle East for earth’s final
struggle (Zechariah 12:1-3) . Climaxing the struggle will be millions of men
from the east who will cross the Euphrates River and join the fray (Revelation
16:12) Million will perish in this deadly struggle known as Armageddon.(the
final act of a desperate world struggle centered in the Middle East). The name
Armageddon come the Hebrew word meaning “the Mount of Megiddo, which is a small
mountain located in northern Israel at the end of broad valley.*

Other scenarios: Global Warming, Wars, or boththere are other scenarios that may demise the
Earth and all life forms billions of years prior to its natural span: Man-Made
interventions whether Global warming or Wars. But, rather than one or the
other, our demise may be a result of both; where catastrophic effects of Global
Warming may initiate wars in regions possessing WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. As
a result such conflicts are absolute! And needs to be addressed adeptly.
The
following essay examines above mentioned issues that may ultimately lead to
humanities premature annihilation:
1)Manmade intervention “GLOBAL WARMING”:
Starting
from the first industrial revolution, manmade intervention is further accelerating our demise at a
precious rate. For example, in
the last 200 hundred years more damage is done to the environment than 4
billion years of existence. As a result, earth has entered a new epoch where
irreparable damages are leading to unavoidable catastrophe as unsustainable
consumption continues.
Environmental catastrophes may have
short and/or long term effects on the eco-system and population. Furthermore,
the type of the catastrophe is determined by Geographic locations, and the
types of G.W emissions. However, it is known by scientist that pollutants and
toxicity do travel through the hemisphere in form of clouds. As an example,
“Brown Clouds” are Global warming gases (sooth, and toxics) that starts from
Asia and travel to North America, leaving a trail of death and sickness.
Similarly, regions in different continents may be affected by floods. For
example, as Glazer melt in Himalayas not only is Asia effected but also the
west coast of N.A in mountain ranges of Rockies, and Sierra Nevada.
The
devastations because of Global Warming (described here after) are obvious in
Asia, and imaging an ominous scenario of what awaits the whole world. Therefore
I have chosen the Himalayan regions as an example to demonstrate the impact of
Global Warming:
.
Long and short term effects of G.W in
Himalayas, are as follows:
the immense suffering and misery that Nations
in Asia have experienced due to their magnitudes of population and inadequate
health care systems transcends comprehension which effects ½ billion people and¼ billion downstream in the Hindu and Kush
regions of North India as Glazer melted. However, I will summarize recent
catastrophes that had displaced millions and killed tens of thousands of humans
and will continue to escalate as Glazers continue to melt. Yet in the future
long- term+; in same regions and adjacent regions; the demise of the
environment plus diseases will be of the opposite nature, where excessive water
in the region will turn to insufficient, orfloods will ultimately turn to
drought as Glazers vanish.
a)Short term:
Extreme
weather conditions continuesasglazers are melting at a rapid rate,
affecting areas in China, India, Bangladesh,Nepal, (ck. Map Bhutan) and Pakistan; as a result, diseases such as malaria, cholera,
are common along river banks. This compounded, with record floods from the
monsoons and extreme rain results in land erosion, mud slide, serious food
shortages, vanish of live stock and loss of agriculture lands leading to
starvation. Hundreds of thousands of people are displaced and health care
systems collapses. Tens of thousands died as environmentally related diseases
surge. Consequently rioting and looting required displaying the military to
safe guard food warehouses.Society of
those regions, as we used to know, dissolves.
b)Long term
As Glaser continues to melt, it will have a
severe impact on hundreds of millions of people. Furthermore, it is estimated
that by “2030 another 30 percent will disappear by 2050, 40 percent; and by the
end of the century 70 percent”( 2009 International
conference on Asian glaciers at the University of California) , Tributaries
such as the Ganga and Indus may only be a seasonal, and rivers as the Tigris
and(ck int)will permanently dry. Consequently,
changes in rain fall and the Monsoons results: in droughts, loss of hydro
plants, loss in live stock, destruction of agriculture land, and the demise of
the eco-system. In addition famine, starvation, dehydration, sun stroke, etc..,
are popular causes of mass deaths.Ultimately, such extreme environmental conditions causes’ human mutation
to accelerate from already unprecedented record level.
Conclusion:
Extreme weather conditions have made havoc of
the climate in land and as well as in oceans thus: all forms of life on earth
are threatened- ultimately leading to extinction of millions of species and,
thus, accelerating of Human mutation; the “chain of reactions” leading to such
a horrific scenario are most evident in Asia:
As Glazers are melting
In the Himalay there is disastrous, Long Term and Short Term, effects on
rivers.Scientist estimate that 10s of
millions of people will die and hundreds of millions will be displaced (some
projections claims that billions will be displaced). Not only Asia will be
affected, but also scientific models has projected that west coast of N.A. in
the range mountains of Rockies, and Sierra Nevada will affected, as glazers
continue to melt. Ultimately the Global Economy will be affected at a scale we
had never seen, and industrialized nations may be paralyzed in ability to help
and assist Nations that are hit by such environmental catastrophes.
Yet,
there is still hope that we can prevent further escalation of Green House
Gases, although actual damage to the Eco-system is irreparable. Such objective
could be achieved by addressing Global Warming where all nations, including
developing countries, such as India and China, are participants in Kayo
Protocol, and an emphasis placed on new technology and sensible goals: to
obtain at least 350 parts per million of CO2 in our atmosphere as compared to
today amount of 385 PPM. Scientists claim that the former amount is the
threshold to maintain stability and predictability in nature. This stability
was the most important prerequisite for evolution of human civilization over
the last 10,000 years.
Furthermore, although
science and technology have excelled, some writers still rebuff the effects of
global warming. Yet regardless of science, as humans we have instincts or a
“sixth sense” which has helped humanity through some of the most difficult
periods of existence, and I plea with you to use it against the greatest threat
to humanity:Just look North and see
the ozone hole deteriorating each day, spreading throughAntarctica to S.A effectingChile and Argentina; or listen to the oceans
and hear its roars inSouth East Asia,
or breathe the air in the inner cities and feel its pollutants, or hold its soil
to feel its toxicity caused by factories.
2)Man Made Intervention: Wars:
Introduction:
The 1stkilling ever recorded was shortly after
creation: Adam’s son Abel killed his brother Kane, because he admired his wife
and wanted possession of her (Bible; Genesis).
and plateau to where Emperors
advanced their armies in order annulated or conquer opposing armies in hopes controlling
other Nations and ultimately the world:
Persian,
Roman, Islamic Arab, Islamic Ottoman, Russian, French, Spanish, and British
etc….
As weapons for killing
developed so did the fatalities. First from bones and Clubs, to Spears and
Swords, to Bows and Arrows, and ultimately to of Guns, Rifles and Canons after
the discovery of gunpowder.
With the use of the
latter, the world entered a NEW EPOCH
of mass killings.
For example, unlike other
empire of the past, in their expansion into 3 continents, S Europe, W Asia, N
Africa, the Ottoman Empire (1299-1922)
utilized guns and artillery(that significantly improve in range, and accuracy
in the 20th century) which facilitated them to commit sadistic crimes
against humanity ranging from:
·The
Genocide of about ½ the Armenians population of about 1 million people
(Armenian was the first Christian state and an area of extreme biblical and
geographic importance- it is claimed that Noah arc landed there).
·Hanging
the Greek Pope on one Easter Sunday,
·Hanging,
in public, of political leaders and/or rulers of countries they invaded and
conquered, even while the victims were Muslims (as they did with some Arab
countries).
Meanwhile, methods of killing
continued to improve: to Bi-wing aero plane equipped with machine guns, poisons
gas, submarines, flame throwers, tanks, and cannons. Such weapons contributed to
the massive death toll and the success of the allies (France, Russia, and
Britain) along with the fall of the Ottoman Empire, Germany and Austria at the ended
World War 1- with the death toll of about 15 million .
As new technology
in warfare continued, Aircraft carriers, submarines, aircraft bombers and Rockets
(initially designed by Germany as with Hitler’s V1 and V2 missiles during WW 11)
a door opened for long range bombing. Yet the plateau of mass killing was
accomplished with the Atomic bomb (which contributed to the end of W.W11), and the
world has once again entered a NEW EPOCH
of mass killings.
The USA, for example, is one of the first nations to utilize
such a horrific weapon. Japan, in the
cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, were bombed and resulted in Japan’s surrender
during W.W 11. Over 300,000 Japanese
died, and it is estimated that more one million eventually died when radiation
and birth defects are calculated. Overall the death toll after W.W11 of about 70 million, with
civilian included
Russia, Great Britain, France, China shortly
obtained their own nuclear arsenal; in the 21st century, India and Pakistan
followed, and N. Koreans withdraws from nuclear non-proliferation treaty (NPT)
in 2003 in order to pursuit their own nuclear ambitions.Israel (refuses to acknowledge their nuclear
arsenal). Iranians continue their pursuit of nuclear energy, claiming it is for
peaceful use although in violation of the NPT they ratified in 1970.Furthermore, it is estimated that within the
next 2-6 months, Iran will obtain a nuclear arsenal.
There are
about 1.2 billion Muslims (31 million in Europe, 845 million in Asia, 323
million in Africa, 1 million in S.A, and 2.9 million in N. A, And the following
wars exist with Islamic fundamentalist worldwide
·.Russia state such as Chena, Dagestan, and Ingushetia
that were once conquest by the Ottoman Empire are demanding Autonomy by Muslim
extremist where as Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia accomplished autonomy in 1991.
·India’s
battle with Muslim extremist in Kashmir and Nepal,
·Philippines
battle with Muslim extremist in the South- fighting the illegitimate Muslim
government as well as the central Government.
·Indonesia
conflicts with fundamentalism. (Largest Muslim country in the world)
·The
insurgents the USA are fighting in Afghanistan.
·Pakistan’s
battle with Islamic extremism…..
·The
Muslims Uyghur calling for independence from China. Although there is not a
state of war, the Jihadists are calling of a uprising which have the potentials
of war.
Although conflicts mentioned
above are independent of each other and may have resulted from different
motives: secular, fundamentalism expansion, ethnical or political,
They all have the one common dominator:
Religious Ideology of the Quran or rather misinterpretation of the Quran………….
In addition with use of Internet, and satellite
phones, it is difficult to have censorship of causalities, unlike other wars of
the past
Thus giving extremist an enormous advantage in
networking violence and murder with one goal: INTIFADA (uprising)
In this era of Nuclear
and Biological weapons along with Iran’s and Ai Qaeda’s threats of genocide and
violence, I will address root causes of:
Islamic Fundamentalism (Iran)
Fanatic Islamic Terrorists(conflicts
in countries mentioned above plus Yemen, Somalia, Bosnia, Nigeria, Algeria, Saudi
Arabia,)
“IN THE NAME OF GOD, THE ALL- MERCIFUL
THE ALL COMPASSIONATE. “

. In the following section, I will
review the HISTORY OF ISLAM to the formation of the Shia and Sunni religions in
order to have a better understanding of Islamic conflicts which have originated
for centuries. However, The situation in the Middle East is complex that
involves several variables such as balance of power, economic situation,
Religious sect, education, Imam of region, geographic location and perhaps profound
emotions of hatred that may have originated for centuries and is extended into
today’s issues by political leaders and/or religious leader- in order to achieve
their personal agenda.

Muhammad
(born in 571 A.D. in Mecca, Arabia), was doing trade business on behalf of his
wife “Khadija”, with good reputation between Mecca’s people for his honesty.
Usually, He
used to go next to a cave in Mecca for seclusion. When He was forty years old,
one day while He was next to that cave, He heard a voice saying: “READ”….. So, Muhammad, who was
illiterate, answered: “I cannot read or write”. Then the voice said “Read in the name of your God who created,
created the man from a sperm”. He went back to his wife shaken and
terrified. However, He realized it was the archangel Gabriel (Gebril) giving a
message from GOD.
That was in Fact the first verse
(Sorah) of the “Quran”.
More verses
followed, and after several more verses, Muhammad started preaching that
“ALLAH” is the only God and the Idols worshiped by the pagans of Mecca should
be abolished. He had a few believers, but the majority of Mecca’s people,
including the leaders terribly rejected to believe his message to the extent of
serious death threats.
As a result,
fearing for his life and listening to his followers advice, He escaped from
Mecca by night and moved to Medina, where he was met by heartily welcome. That
move was called migration (hijra) and that date was later considered the start
of the Muslim calendar (AH).
From Medina
He continued preaching for that new religion, which was called “Islam”,
and the followers called “Muslims”. He gained so many followers.
When He was strong enough, He marched with his followers to Mecca. He won the
battle and Mecca became under his control. After that He marched and fought
several battled, after which He succeeded in spreading Islam in all Arabia.
He died in
632 A.D. and his death wish was to conquer Egypt.
After the
death of Muhammad, his successors to lead Islam were named “Caliphs”.
Each of the first three was Chosen by the elders of Muslims. In addition to the
title of Caliph, each was called also “Seddiq”, which means in Arabic faithful
friend, the Caliphs started as follows:
