Pilate, the Governor of Jerusalem said that Jesus was
innocent and wanted to set him free. But he Jews insisted that He should be
crucified. At this point Pilates wiped his hand clean of the Messiah’s blood;
saying “His blood is on your hands and your future generations’ hands”.
On the week of Jesus’ death, he was in Jerusalem on Mount of
Olives, where unveil to his disciples a preview of the future…
“Tell us when will these things happen and what will be the
sign of your coming, and of the end of the age.” Mathew 24:3; also Mark 13:3
Jesus answer: this world is not going to become a better
place to live in time of almost unbelievable difficult are on the horizon.
Jesus said that the end of the age will be a unique time of terror. Nothing in
all of world history will compare to what is coming. It will totally eclipse
all previous history in terms of hardship and trouble. “There will be great
tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until
now, nor ever will’ (Matthew 24:21). Great famines will cause millions to
perish (Matthew 24:7).
The world will come apart at the seams. Disasters will occur
on a scale worse than that found in any ecologist’s nightmare. Stars will fall
and planets will run off course, causing chaotic change in climate (revelation
6:6-8). Unnatural heat and cold, flooding, and other disasters will wipe out
much of the food production of the world. Strange new pandemic will sweep the
world, killing millions (revelation 6:6-8). As this period draws to close,
earth quakes will level the great cities of the world, and geographic upheavals
will cause mountains and island to disappear in the seas (revelation 16:17-20).
In the course of just a few years, disaster will reduce the world population to
a fraction of its present billion.
the scenario mentioned above will occur on aspecific time on a specific date with a
specific set of circumstances that is marked on a calendar over 2000 years ago,
“Of that day and one and hour no one’s knows, not even the angel of heaven, nor
the son, but the father alone” (Matthew24:36).
Although Earth's expiration date is predetermined, Science has proven that unsustainable living which may be correlated by Global Warming and Green House Gases is destroying all forms of life prematurely, Similarly, as Pilate (Governor of Jerusalem) washed his hands of Jesus' blood when the Jews made their decision;"our creator washes his hand free" where we have also determined our fate and that of our future generation by our imprudent life style- where greed, materialism, and gratification of our unquenchable ego supersedes our requirements for survival (unsustainable living).
